Course Of Action

* Course of action doesnt follow when it has the word "all" in it .
Ex-1. Statement: Increasing levels of air pollution is creating health hazards for people living in the cities.
Courses of action:
I. All industries should be shifted to the outskirts of the cities.
II. Transport authorities should take steps for converting all public transport vehicles to run on CNG.
Both courses of action I and II are not advisable because of the word ‘all’.

*Course of action is not advisable if it contains any  extreme action/step.

Ex-  Statement: A large number of people gathered on the highway, blocking the traffic movement to protest the killing of five locals by a speeding vehicle.
Courses of action:
I. The police should fire tear gas shells to disperse the crowd.
II. The police authority should calm down the sentiment of the crowd, assuring action against the culprit and deploy police personnel at the spot.
Course of action I is not advisable because it will be an extreme action/step.
Course of action II is advisable because it will be the right action/step.
