1. Union Cabinet approves MoU between India and UN-Entity of Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women.Under this MoU, Union Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR) and UN-Women will work in collaboration with each other to promote participation of women in Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs).
