19.Fortune Magazine released their fourth annual ranking of the World’s 50 Greatest Leaders 2017 on March 23, 2017. ii. State Bank of India’s Chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya has been ranked 26 among 50 leaders while Indianorigin physician Raj Panjabi, founder and CEO of Last Mile Health, have been placed at 28th position

With this, Bhattacharya has become the only Indian corporate leader to be featured on the list. The list has been topped by Theo Epstein President, Baseball Operations in Chicago Cubs.

21. Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has broken the record for most wickets in a single Test season, taking his 79th this season during the Dharamsala Test against Australia.
Ashwin went past South African pacer Dale Steyn, who had claimed 78 wickets in 12 Tests in 2007-08.
22 After e-commerce site Amazon was barred from selling products with the Indian Flag on them in January, the Union ministry of home affairs (MHA) on Wednesday issued a fresh directive “to ensure strict compliance of the provisions contained in the Flag Code of India, 2002.”
