15.Sign language dictionary to release in India soon.The Indian Sign Language (ISL) dictionary, hich is being developed by the Indian Sign Language Research and Training Centre (ISLRTC), has so far compiled 6,032 Hindi and English words and corresponding graphic representations of signs.The dictionary is being developed in both print and video formats.


16.A Canadian Maggie MacDonnell who teaches at a school in a fly-in only village in the Arctic won a $1-million Global Teacher Prize at a ceremony in Dubai.

1. The Indian Navy has de-inducted TU142M Long Range Maritime Patrol aircraft after 29 years of dedicated service to the nation and 30,000 hours of accident-free flying. The aircraft was formally de-inducted at a ceremony held at INS Rajali naval air station in Arakkonam, Tamil Nadu. Now its role will be taken on by the newly inducted Boeing P-8I aircraft. 2.The Union Defence Ministry has approved most of the proposals of a committee of experts, headed by Lt. Gen. D.B.
